At BabyBar we are focused on sharing evidence based support. This week follow to get up to speed with what the research shows and come and have a chat with us to talk over your sleep questions - see you Thursday!

Get • Clear, simple safer sleep advice matters more than ever, especially when it comes to baby sleeping products. Safer Sleep Week (9 – 15 March) is focusing on the baby necessities – the essential, simple items that a baby needs for safer sleep.

Throughout the week, we’ll be supporting families with clear, research-based guidance that reinforces a simple message: keep it simple to keep it safe.

We’ll be covering:
- Which products babies need — and which can (and should) be left on the shelf.
- What to look for on a product or label to check it fits within baby safety guidance.
- Our new resource: How to dress a baby for sleep in different room temperatures.

Coming to Crowmarsh Gifford Village Hall on Saturday 7th March from 3pm - the BabyBar Table Top Bonanza!!! Save the date and come along - just £2.50 entrance!

Your chance to either have a clear out and support an amazing charity or book your own table and sell your preloved items and keep the profits! We also need buyers so come along and shop the tables, so save the date.

At BabyBar we are committed to evidence based support and that includes safe sleeping, bottle preparation and all things baby safety - matters which are very close to our hearts. As such we won't be accepting or allowing the sale of bottle prep machines, open system breast pumps, sleepaids or car seats. We also request everything is in a good condition and clean ready for it's new home. Thank you for your understanding.

Are you ready for Christmas?!? Step 1 for us is always the wreath - the event we always look forward to hosting - but be quick our Wreath Making Workshops sell out quick.

The ticket price supports our charity and we provide everything you need to create the most stunning wreath - high end foliage, bells, bows and everything in between. All you need is a pair of secateurs!

Do you know someone who is expecting a baby? BabyBar Best Starts is great to get up to speed with everything feeding related. Come and meet the knowledgeable team and find out about how you and your family can get off to the best start.

These evenings are a great chance to meet others, and small and formal groups, at the same stage as you and build friendships that will support you through that fourth trimester.

BabyBar - Best Starts - new date announcement!
Get off to the best feeding start with Wallingford BabyBar, your local infant feeding charity.

When: Wednesday 24th September 7.15 - 9.30pm
Where: The Ridgeway Community Church
£10 per family, which includes a cuppa and cake

Calling all parents-to-be (or anyone in need of a refresher!) Come and get the answers to your questions, find out about the feeding fundamentals and chat over your options, discover the best resources and local support to help your feeding journey flourish.

We’ll be talking feeding choices - breastfeeding, bottlefeeding plus everything inbetween. We’ll chat about how to get off to the best start on the lead up to and right after birth, we’ll have top tips to feed your baby, your way, and will prepare you with what to expect in the early days. All our support is evidence based and delivered by trained specialists.

With some infamous BabyBar cake and a cuppa to keep us going we’ll then split into smaller groups with a trained peer supporter to discuss and answer your questions.

We’ll come back together to explain a bit more about what we do and also give you the inside scoop on what support is available both online and locally.

Lastly we’ll arrange a whatsapp group to connect with other local families - get to know others who will be on the same journey as you.

This evening of support will equip you with key information, give you confidence and provide a great opportunity to meet others. Get off to the best start with Wallingford BabyBar.
