Thank you to everybody involved with our Spring Concours event at Alnwick Castle – it was a superb weekend with a spectacular collection of Aston Martin cars from across the eras as well as a stunning Vanquish display.

Thanks to all our Members who joined us and made this event so special as well as our hard-working events team and everybody else from HQ. Special thanks also to the lovely volunteers who help us at these events – we could not do it without you!

We are looking forward to seeing many of our Members at our annual Spring Concours this weekend, Sat 6 and Sun 7 June at Alnwick Castle.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of one of Britain’s most iconic castles, Members and visitors to the venue will experience an extraordinary display of classic and modern Aston Martin vehicles, bringing together owners,enthusiasts and admirers from across the country.

As well as being the seat of the 12th Duke of Northumberland, Alnwick is famous for being the fictional home of Hogwarts School in the Harry Potter films, as well as being used as one of the filming locations for Downton Abbey.

Saturday 6 June is for Members only, but on Sunday 7 June all are welcome to come along to the castle to enjoy an array of stunning classic and modern Aston Martins. Please see the Castle’s website for entry details: https://www.alnwickcastle.com.

Event invitation – open to all, tickets are £20 per car. Come along to Grandey’s Place this Sunday 26th April https://www.grandeysplace.co.uk/ for an exclusive event “Where British Heritage Craft meets British Finest Cars”.

The venue in Much Hadham near Stansted, UK is a unique philanthropic venture created to help sustain and nurture the UK’s Heritage Crafts, many of which are under threat of extinction.

In addition to a substantial supercar display, Clive Beecham, a noted and passionate car collector will present the famous Ferrari 250 SWB which was driven to glory by Stirling Moss at Le Mans alongside another very special car, the 1923 Aston Martin 'Razor Blade', a renowned, one-of-a-kind, ultralight racing car built by Bamford & Martin to break the 1-hour light car speed record at Brooklands.

Apart from looking at amazing cars, there is the exclusive chance to explore the different craftspeople and their crafts. From Globe maker to Luthier, Shoemaker to Milliner, Horologist to Silversmith there are many fascinating crafts to explore (and the on-site artisan bakery has a fabulous range of breads, cakes and quiches for you to enjoy).

Tickets are £20 per car with all profits going to support Grandey's Place.

Here’s our February Car of the Month – a 2013 Vantage S in Blue Chameleon that has been proudly owned since 2023 by one of our Club Members, Mo Faas in Perth, Western Australia.

Few interesting facts from the owner:

The car is the first from the Q Design Team with Blue Chameleon paint and a turquoise and ivory interior. Perth has very long summers which shows the car off to full advantage with the stunning colours of magenta, purple, blue, teal & gold showing from different angles and allows us to make full use of the convertible option with the roof down most of the time. It’s also so much fun to drive especially when we get out of the city area...

The photo was taken outside a furniture warehouse called East West Design in Fremantle; the warehouse is 2 acres and the walls are completely covered in murals making it an amazing back drop for the car.
