An experiment in community living, South Oxfordshire. We live in a Gothic manor house with outbuildings and 57 acres of land.

We are running courses in Ecology, Organic Gardening, Permaculture, Herbal medicine, Hedge Laying, Coppicing, Holistic therapies, and Bee keeping as well as Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation classes, the Alexander Technique, working groups, and various kinds of retreats. 🦇 Gothic Night returns to Braziers Park for the third time!

Continuing one of our newer Braziers traditions, Gothic Night is back! This time, it coincides with our Society Wider Community Weekend (20-22 November 2026).

And Gothic Night is just one part of an exciting programme planned for our Society Wider Community Weekend!

🥁 Starting with a communal drumming session on Friday evening, the weekend will bring together a wonderful mix of creative activities, workshops, talks and discussions. Some highlights include two community-led pottery sessions, a workshop exploring play for adults, and a thought-provoking talk about the challenges of our current financial system.

On Sunday, we will turn our attention to film screenings, community discussions and opportunities for collective reflection and action, exploring some of the pressing questions facing our society today.

✨ Did you know that our Wider Community Weekends are one of the best ways to get a glimpse into life at Braziers Park? Our resident community plays an active role in shaping the programme, sharing their skills and ideas with everyone who joins us.

Among the Bees at Braziers Park 🐝🌼

What can we learn from living alongside bees?

In our latest story, Heather, one of our community residents, shares her journey into beekeeping and some of what she has discovered while caring for the honey bees at Braziers Park.

From the extraordinary collective life of a honey bee colony to honey-making, pollination, swarming and the challenges posed by Varroa mites, Heather offers a glimpse into the fascinating world of our apiary. Along the way, she also looks beyond the hive to the many other bees, wasps and pollinators that find a home within the meadows, gardens and wilder spaces at Braziers 🌿🌼🌱

The collective life of the bees also has a particular resonance at Braziers, echoing the idea of the ‘multi-minded organism’ that has long been associated with the community 🐝

Kids Go Wild! is back this Sunday! 🌿🍂

Join us at Braziers Park this Sunday 11th October, 10am-noon, for another morning of outdoor adventures with qualified Forest School leader Charlotte Allchin (Charlotte Allchin)🌿

With 55 acres of meadows and woodland to explore, each Kids Go Wild session offers a different opportunity for children to play, discover, get creative and spend time in nature. We will be outside whatever the weather, so wrap up, wear suitable footwear and be prepared to get a little mucky! 🍂🍁

🌱 Upcoming autumn & winter dates:
Sunday 11th October, 10am-noon
Sunday 15th November, 10am-noon
Sunday 20th December, 10am-noon

Tickets are £12 per child, including one accompanying adult, or £20 for a family ticket.

🌳 🪲 🪱 Help us create a new Science Exploration Area in the woodlands at Braziers Park!

We are raising £2,000 to create a playful, hands-on learning environment for local children and families, encouraging curiosity and discovery of the natural world.

Every donation will help bring this project to life. If we don't reach our target, contributions will fund individual elements of the build. Any surplus will support ongoing maintenance of the area and Braziers Park's wider charitable aims.

⭐️After a successful first event at Braziers Park, we are delighted to welcome Hayley Trezise back this October for another two-day introduction to shamanism: Art of Soul Flight.

🌿 10am–5pm on Saturday 24th & 9am–3pm on Sunday 25th October 2026

Over two days, participants will be introduced to the basic principles of shamanism and the practice of shamanic journeying, exploring connection with spirit, healing, divination, ceremony and the relationship between nature and the spirit world.

Day one will introduce shamanic journeying, the drum and rattle, and a power dance, while day two will deepen these practices through an introduction to shamanic healing, divination and community healing.

Facilitated by shamanic practitioner, teacher and artist Hayley Trezise, the weekend offers a held and playful space for exploration, reflection and connection.

🎬 Just over two weeks to go until we welcome BIFF back to Braziers Park! 🎬

From 28–30 August, the Braziers International Film Festival (BIFF) returns for three days of independent international cinema, performances, installations and conversation, with screenings taking place in our historic 18th-century barn.

The 2026 programme is now live and tickets are on sale! Whether you’d like to immerse yourself in the full festival or simply join us for a screening or a day, there are plenty of ways to take part:
