We would like to say a massive thank you to Bob and the team over at the Berinsfield Village Voice. They contacted us a couple of weeks back to ask if they could donate us anything for the children. We put an Amazon wish list together and Bob popped in this week to drop off all of these items for the kids to enjoy. Thank you so much for your kindness 💜

How to take part in the central government’s consultation on the future of local government in Oxfordshire in three simple steps:

1. Visit www.3Councils.org to learn more about the proposed changes and what they could mean for you.

2. Click “Have your say” and complete the short multiple-choice survey (takes around five minutes).

3. Submit your responses and help shape future decisions of your local council.

Consultation closes 26 March 2026

There are three proposals for how Oxfordshire’s six councils could be abolished and replaced with unitary councils, which are being consulted on by government:

3️⃣ councils: Greater Oxford Council, Northern Oxfordshire Council, and Ridgeway Council
2️⃣ councils: Oxford and Shires Council, and Ridgeway Council
1️⃣ council: Oxfordshire Council

Each new council would be responsible for all council services in the area – from planning and bin collections to social care and transport.
