Behind every donation you give is a woman who can finally breathe, a child who can fall asleep safely, and a family taking its first steps towards a future free from abuse.

This winter, will you give the gift of safety?

Every gift, big or small, makes a difference. Donate now at www.centralwomensaid.org/donate and please share this post to help us reach more people.

Are you delivering domestic abuse recovery programmes? Ready to explore something different?

Introducing Steps to Freedom – our creative, trauma-informed, 10-week domestic abuse recovery programme, developed by Nottingham Central Women's Aid.

Designed with survivors in mind, Steps to Freedom goes beyond understanding the dynamics of domestic abuse to explore the challenges women face during and after abusive relationships.

Our programme covers:
💜 Coercive control and the dynamics of domestic abuse
💜 Technology-facilitated abuse and digital safety
💜 Post-separation abuse
💜 Parenting through domestic abuse
💜 Rebuilding confidence, identity and independence
💜 Recovery through creativity, reflection and connection

Grounded in contemporary research and understanding, Steps to Freedom provides facilitators with the tools and resources to deliver meaningful, trauma-informed recovery sessions.
