Danelaw Vikings

Danelaw Vikings Based in Nottingham, Danelaw is part of the Vikings reenactment society. We reenact viking and anglo saxon history ranging from 793-1066 (and sometimes beyond).

Whether it's a historical event, educational program, or public festival, Danelaw is dedicated to delivering high-quality, authentic and captivating reenactment experiences. Members of the Vikings Reenactment Society, Danelaw is one of the oldest early medieval reenactment groups in Nottingham. Join us in bringing history to life!

That's a wrap on 2026! What an absolutely smashing time. For a lot of us this was our first time attending the whole event and we had a blast. There's a reason that we're called Nerdlaw... 🫥 It got coined at a training weekend where we were playing table top wargames on the backs of shields with a light on a torch for illumination!

No wonder we love UK Games Expo ! The guys have been playing Demons and Thieves with a side of Barons War this evening. The rest of the weekend we have had Chaosium Inc. under our awning running Age of Vikings.

It's our last day tomorrow, we'd love to see you!

join GMs and The Viking Society viking re-enactors for an immersive RPG experience at UK Games Expo!

Brave players will need to head to the Viking Villiage outside the NEC on Pendigo Lake, and make themselves known, so they can take part in two Age of Vikings TTRPG scenarios: 'Belly of the Beast' and "Sea and Salt'.

All proceeds from this event, after VAT, will be donated to the UKGE Charities.
