Today, during Love Your Countryside Month, some of our fabulous volunteers visited the On the Edge garden, in its new permanent home at Park Hill, Sheffield.

CPRE's Gold Medal-winning garden and Garden of the Year at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show has been relocated to become a permanent green space for the community, bringing together nature, craftsmanship and a powerful message about access to green spaces and protecting the countryside on the edges of our towns and cities.

From Gaia's striking sculpture to the Yorkshire-crafted dry-stone walls, every element of the garden is helping to create a place for reflection, connection and community in one of Sheffield's most iconic developments.

Just a few minutes’ walk from Sheffield railway station, we’d definitely recommend a visit if you’re in the area.
