L👀k who are up for adoption! Everyone meet Quinn and Riley! 🖤🤍🖤🤍

These 2 young cats are looking for a home together BUT Quinn does get fed up of her little brother who is very playful. We think when they have more space in a home it will be better for them rather than a cattery.
They were abandoned and have been through a lot but that hasn't stopped them being lovely little characters.

PLEASE consider them as due to their colour we know they won't jump out but if you would like to share your home with a playful, energetic little male and his inquisitive, affectionate sister, Quinn and Riley would love to meet you.

Resharing this post as these 2 wonderful cats have had zero applications 🥺 Would they have gone if they had been a different colour? Sadly black cats followed by black and white are the hardest to rehome. Pye and Sal are just such a lovely pair, friendly, like being around you and bonded to each other.
Our rehoming coordinator Emily is on holiday at the end of this week but we'd love nothing more than her mail box to be bursting with enquiries when she is back!

One of the nations favourite mammals is in serious trouble with between a 30% and 75% decline since 2000 according to the 'State of Britain's Hedgehogs' report from 2022. You can read about that here https://www.britishhedgehogs.org.uk/national-hedgehog-conservation-strategy/

Providing a gap in fencing means hedgies have the freedom to move. There is a call to Government to make it a legal requirement to provide 'hedgehog highways' in all new builds.

You can help immediately by making your garden a hedgehog haven with places for them to shelter and possibly hibernate. Leaving some areas unkempt encourages this. Don't use pesticides, hedgehogs are foragers and primarily insectivores munching worms, larvae and other creepy crawlies. You can provide meaty hedgehog food or cat or dog food, no fish based meat as this upsets their stomachs. They don't need milk, just plain water.

🎃🖤 Meet Pye and Sal 👻🐈‍⬛

Pye (Pyewacket, black female) and Sal (Salem, black-and-white male) are two lovely 2-year-old cats who came into our care after their owner sadly passed away.

Although they were a little shy at first, they have been settling in beautifully. Sal loves rolling onto his back for a fuss, while Pye enjoys cuddling up on the sofa and keeping an eye on what you're up to!

These two have lovely personalities and are affectionate in their own ways 🖤

🐾 We are looking for a home where Pye and Sal will stay together
🐈‍⬛ They will need to be the only pets in the household
🧡 They could possibly live with children over 12 years old

We've over a 1000 listings in our eBay shop so we challenge you not to find an item you want...need may be a different matter ;)

Along with our wonderful RSPCA Nottm Eastwood Charity Shop our online store raises money for animals like Joey, Perry, Basil and Tansy, 4 kittens born outside who we've treated for eye conditions and after 6 weeks are just about ready for adoption. We are an independent branch of the RSPCA and raise all our own funds to be used right here in Nottingham.
