Switch Up supports young people and families affected by crime and violence in Nottinghamshire, building positive futures through education, employment and wellbeing.

Our Parnership with Nottingham Forest is well and truly creating magic moments. For many of the young people we support, attending a football match, meeting their heroes or stepping onto the pitch is something they have never experienced.

Through Nottingham Forest’s Magic Moments campaign, these dreams have become a reality.

At Switch Up, we support young people affected by crime, violence, poverty and disadvantage. Opportunities like these go beyond football, helping build confidence, inspire aspirations and connect young people with positive role models.

Every young person deserves the chance to dream big and reach their full potential, regardless of their circumstances.

A heartfelt thank you to Nottingham Forest for making our young people feel valued and creating memories that will stay with them for years to come. ⚽️💯💙🙏

Could you help make that happen? 🩵

We’re looking for Education Tutors to join the Switch Up team.

For many of the young people we support, education hasn’t always been a positive experience. This is an opportunity to do things differently, helping young people build their skills, confidence and belief in what they can achieve.

We’re looking for people who can connect, engage and inspire, and who understand that sometimes the biggest breakthrough starts with a young person simply believing 'I can do this.'

Our 5-star HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) clubs are back at Switch Up Mansfield, with four days of fun, activity, learning and healthy food - all with a little Halloween mischief thrown in! 🕷️

👻 MIXED AGE HAF CLUB | Ages 6–16
⏰ 9:30am–1:30pm

👻 SECONDARY SCHOOL HAF CLUB
⏰ 2:00pm–4:30pm

🎃 Healthy eating
🎃 Gaming

🌟 HOME EDUCATION SESSIONS AT SWITCH UP 🌟

Looking for a welcoming space where your home-educated child can get active, try new things and meet other young people?

Our Home Education sessions at Switch Up Mansfield Hub continue every Monday and Thursday, giving young people aged 5–16 the chance to take part in fun activities, get some exercise and build friendships in a supportive environment.

📍 Switch Up Mansfield Hub
🗓️ Every Monday & Thursday
⏰ 11:30am–1:30pm
👧 Ages 5–16
💷 Just £1 per child, per session
☕ Parents attend free

Sessions include:

🏀 Fun activities & games
🎨 Creative projects
💪 Exercise & physical activity
👫 Time to socialise and make friends
🩵 A friendly, supportive community atmosphere

And while the young people are getting involved, parents have the opportunity to meet other home education families, share experiences and enjoy a coffee in a relaxed setting.

There's no need to book - simply turn up with your family at our community centre on Barringer Road, Mansfield NG18 2DF.
