School uniform and back to school costs can add up quickly, especially for families with children starting secondary school this September.
Did you know that from September 2026, schools should not require more than 3 branded uniform items? Secondary schools may require 4 if one of those items is a tie.
Before buying uniform, it may be worth checking:
✔ Which items must be branded
✔ Whether second hand uniform is available
✔ If your school runs a uniform exchange
✔ What support may be available locally
