From volcano making in Science and stop‑motion animation to outdoor play in Kidszone and a colourful Juice Jam, our campers have been exploring, learning and having fun every single day.

Meet Kzena, our 3D Animation & Graphic Design skill clinic leader 🎨

In this session, campers get the freedom to be independent, experiment, and bring their ideas to life - from digital 3D modelling on iPads and computers to hands‑on clay sculpting.

It’s all about building confidence, learning new technical skills, and having fun creating something totally unique.

Camp Williams runs until 28 August at YMCA Newark and Sherwood - perfect if you’re still looking for childcare for the rest of the summer holidays.

Skills Clinic Spotlight - Skateboarding!🛹

Hear from Kev, one of our Nottingham Skills Clinic Leaders, as he shows what campers aged 8+ can learn - from balance and board control to building confidence one push at a time.

Skill Clinics help young people develop new skills and grow their hobbies throughout the week, and skateboarding is always a favourite.

We’re absolutely loving this week’s Around the World theme! 🌎✨

Our staff have even been taking to the skies in their very own fake plane!✈️😂

From exploring crocheting styles from different countries 🧶🌍 to choosing where you’re going on holiday through archery 🏹🏝️, we’re covering it all this week!

There’s been creativity, adventure, new experiences and, of course, lots of fun along the way already and we’re only on Day 2!🌴🗺️🎉

We can’t wait to see where our travels take us next! ✈️🌎💙

Week 2 at Camp Williams has been a hot one at The Becket School ☀️

We’ve been making the most of the sunshine with outdoor activities, plenty of laughter and the ultimate cool‑down… a camp‑wide water fight! 💦

Our theme was Disco Fever, and campers got stuck into sessions inspired by all things glitter and good vibes.

We’re ready for another busy week - next up: Round the World 🌍

Camp Williams is running all summer until 28 August at The Becket School and the YMCA Village.
