Building a community where everyone can access good food with dignity. The harsh reality is that food insecurity is an ongoing struggle for many in the UK.

Our Newcastle-under-Lyme HQ hosts the town’s first Social Supermarket, offering affordable food, hardship advice, & emergency parcels to bring people together & ensure support for all. Welcome to Community Cupboard Clayton CIC 16477236 - Together we can create a hunger free community. Our food mission is designed to make sure that the people in our community have access to the essential food items they need to thrive. Behind every statistic is a story of a family, an individual, or a child facing uncertainty about their next meal. This alarming trend underscores the importance of our work and the need for continued support. Together, we can make a tangible difference and ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food. Our main hub is located inside Simply Local, Clayton Road in Newcastle-under-Lyme. Thanks to our amazing volunteers, we effectively redistribute surplus food to those who need it most.

🛒 OUR £15 MEAL CHALLENGE IS BACK! 🍽️ ~ Today we challenged director Laura!

Armed with just 30 tokens (£15 deposit), Laura explored Community Cupboard's Social Supermarket to see how many meals she could create using our branded & affordable food available in store.

HARVEST HEROES!
A huge thank you to all our families who generously donated food items to support Community Cupboard CIC this Harvest Festival.

When the donations were collected, we were incredibly proud to hear that St Wulstan's donation was the largest the charity has ever received! What an amazing achievement and a wonderful reflection of the kindness and generosity of our school community.

Thank you, thank you for the bountiful boxes and big blessings. Your contributions will make a real difference to local families and individuals who need a helping hand.
