Evey year Divadance picks a different charity to raise money for the LGBTQ+ community. 🏳️‍⚧️ 🏳️‍🌈 🌈 🕺 💃 🪩 🌈. Classes are on Wednesday at The Move Lab. Get involved. ❤️

DIVAS! Next week we will be celebrating our annual Charity Pride Class at DIVADANCE! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🎉

Every year we pick a different LGBTQIA+ Charity to focus on & I donate 50% of everybody’s class fees to them! We also all put in a load more extra donations from our Queen Squad & beyond! 🤩

This year we have chosen SPARKLE - The National Trans Charity Sparkle - The National Transgender Charity who work tirelessly to promote awareness, acceptance & inclusion! 😍 And we couldn’t be more proud! ✨

So if you’d like to help us raise as much cash as possible for this vital cause then consider booking a space at one of our Charity Pride classes! Not only do you get to show your solidarity & donate much-needed funds, you get to strut your sassy stuff to the ultimate Pride Party playlist, with a bunch of fabulous humans at the same time! Putting the FUN into FUNdraising! 😜

Labour is delivering on our manifesto commitment - we've published a draft Conversion Practices Bill that will protect LGBT+ people from physical and psychological abuse to change who they are.

Currently, loopholes in the law mean that victims can still be subjects to physical, sexual, economic and psychological abuse whilst their perpetrators escape justice.

The new legislation will create the following criminal offences:
carrying out abusive conversion practices that cause serios harm, alarm or distress to the victim.
encouraging or assisting an abusive conversion practice performed outside England and Wales.

No one should face abuse just because of who they are.
