Harry's Rainbow Providing bereaved children with the support they need today for a brighter tomorrow🌈 So:
In October 2011, Harry’s legacy, “Harry’s Rainbow” was born.

We had the perfect family; two gorgeous children, twins, Jessica and Harry. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and we had five and a half wonderful years until our lives were tragically turned upside down. Our little boy Harry died unexpectedly in March 2009 leaving a great void in all of our lives. We found it very difficult to get the bereavement help and support we needed as a family and

in particular for Jessica, a five and half year old who had lost her twin brother, there wasn’t really anywhere locally that we could turn to. Harry’s Rainbow is committed to supporting bereaved children and their families in the Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. We know intimately the feelings of loss, pain, anger and grief, and the sheer devastation to our lives caused when such a tragedy occurs. We know how difficult it can be to help and support your children through their pain, grief and loss at the same time as trying to deal with your own. Harry’s Rainbow’s aim is:
To support the children affected by the death of a very significant family member, such as a parent or sibling, by providing resources, group activities, trips and family outings

Harry’s Rainbow Colour Run is more than just a fun day out, it brings our community together to raise vital funds and awareness for bereaved children, young people and their families. Originally created in memory of Harry by his twin sister Jessica, this event continues to spread hope, connection and brighter tomorrows for so many. ❤️

Whether you ran, walked, skipped or cheered from the sidelines, thank you for being part of something so special. Together, we're making sure no bereaved child has to face their journey alone.

We were delighted that Natalie from visited four of our groups this month to enable our children and young people to paint some pottery! Lots enjoyed this mindful activity whilst sitting and chatting to friends and our volunteers. We are all excited to see the finished results once Natalie has worked her kiln magic! 🌈

To celebrate our 15th Anniversary, we’re inviting brave supporters to take on an unforgettable challenge – abseiling down the Northampton Lift Tower, the tallest permanent abseil tower in the WORLD! 😲

Together, we’ve raised over £4,000, enough to fund a whole year of support for 6 children who have experienced the devastating loss of a parent or sibling.
