Well what a day we had yesterday at Millom and Broughton Show!

We ventured out with Ellergill Edna and Hardendale Capri, who were both super again. They have really got to grips with all the vehicles and atmosphere, and enjoy their trips out 🙂

Sadly, not as many entries this year as usual but we couldn’t be happier with our results!

Ellergill Edna-
🥇 Fell Pony Youngstock 1-3 years old
🏆 Champion Inhand Fell Pony
🏆 Overall Champion Fell Pony

She was reserve here last year, and managed to one up herself! We didn’t stay the rest of the day for the Supreme as it would’ve been a long day.

Hardendale Capri-
🥈 Fell Pony Youngstock 1-3 years old
🏆 Reserve Inhand Fell Pony Champion
🏆 Reserve Overall Fell Pony Champion

It was a super special day today as the foals passports arrived from the society!
It’s the first time in 18 years that we’ve had more than one foal, so seems even more exciting 🥰

They all had a good groom this evening, and their manes and tails brushed out 💕

Lovely day today at Cockermouth Show with Gem and Pria!

They both went well in the Fells under 3yrs, for Hardendale Capri to stand 3rd and Ellergill Edna to be 4th!!

They stood and behaved all day and loaded amazingly 😁

Thank you Rob Briggs for running Pria out for us 💕

Pria also met her lovely sister from Hardendale Fell Ponies, Ruby 🥰

It was a busy day today at Harthouse!

Our amazing vet Kez from Mckinney Vets came this morning for a few jobs.

The 2 year olds, Ellergill Edna and Hardendale Capri had their vaccinations and were very good.

But the stars of the show go to this years babies being microchipped and passported!

They were all incredibly well behaved and quite enjoyed meeting another new person… even if they came with a big needle 🤷‍♀️🥺

A spruce up for our 2 year olds today!

They’re feeling the heat at the moment, so Gem (Ellergill Edna) had a bath, which she loves!
And Pria (Hardendale Capri) had a mane wash and some practise with the water on her body- as she is not a fan ☺️

We’re super pleased with how these girls are growing ❤️
