With information gathered from other pages, the Met Office weather forecast, and members of the Millom and Haverigg Resilience Group, weβve decided to release this poster.
Our aim is simple: to keep residents safe. Many may think itβs βjust a bit of water,β but even shallow flooding can damage vehicles and spread illness. Some car insurance will not cover driving through flood water. Please take this warning seriously.
