Harps North West at St George’s Church 🎵🪉

⏰ Saturday, 19th September at 2pm

Join us for a beautiful afternoon of live harp music in the wonderful setting and acoustics of St George’s Church, Millom.

The performance will be followed by a communal afternoon tea with sandwiches, cakes, nibbles—and maybe a glass of Prosecco!

Harps North West is a registered charity promoting the playing, teaching and appreciation of the harp across the north west. Come and enjoy the enchanting sound of harps ranging from folk harp to concert harp in a relaxed and welcoming community event.

Entry: £10 per person
Pay on the door by cash or contactless card.

Everyone welcome — bring a friend and enjoy a memorable afternoon of music.

Edit: A bit of research and the old Church may be more Millom than we thought, Richard de Boyville is signing in grants in the 11th C, unclear if he was the Vicar or beneficiary but the Boyville’s were Millom, Ulpha and Kirksanton gentry for generations (must do a post on this family as have done a lot of research on the Boyvilles).
