Barrow Celtic U13 Tigers Presentation Night 2025/26

Date: 19th June 2026
Venue: Furness Cricket Club

The Tigers enjoyed a fantastic evening surrounded by great people as we celebrated what has been an incredible season for the team.

The Tigers have had an amazing season, becoming league champions and reaching two cup finals, only narrowly missing out on both trophies. Most importantly, however, the development shown by every player throughout the season has been phenomenal.

Every player played an important part in our success this year and should be incredibly proud of themselves and each other.

Awards

Manager's Player of the Year

When selecting this award, we look at many factors including work ethic, attitude, commitment and overall contribution to the team.

This year's award deservedly goes to Dylan Morgan.

Well done, Dylan!

Top Goalscorer

This season's Top Goalscorer award goes to Noah Knowles, who scored an incredible 46 goals throughout the season, demonstrating outstanding ability in front of goal.

Well done, Noah!

Top Assists

This season's award goes to Harvey Seward, who provided 18 assists, showing excellent teamwork and creativity throughout the campaign.

Well done, Harvey!

Top Defender

This season's Top Defender award goes to Bobby Boyd, who has been an absolute rock at the back all season.

Well done, Bobby!

Supporters' Player of the Year

This season's Supporters' Player award goes to Phoebe Powell. A thoroughly deserved award.

Well done, Phoebe!

Players' Player of the Year

Voted for by their teammates, this season's Players' Player award goes to Noah Knowles.

Well done, Noah!

Most Improved Player

My favourite award, as it recognises the hard work, dedication and determination shown throughout the season.
This year's Most Improved Player is Charlie Downing.

Well done, Charlie!

Top Goalkeeper

We went half a season without an assigned goalkeeper, so several players stepped in when needed. This award goes to Harry Johnson, who always put the team first and was willing to take on the role, especially in the big games.

Well done, Harry!

Clubman Award

This season, the award doesn't go to a player but to a parent.

The winner is Simon Clarke, who does so much for the team, including managing our social media, supporting fundraising efforts and securing a fantastic sponsorship deal with MSH Healthcare.
Thank you for everything you do, Simon.

Congratulations to all of tonight's award winners. These awards recognise individual achievements, but they also reflect the support of teammates, coaches, volunteers and families who have helped along the way.

A huge thank you to our amazing sponsors, Jamie and the team at MSH Healthcare. Your support is greatly appreciated by the coaches, players and parents alike.

Finally, I'd like to say how proud I am of every single player in this team. Whether you've won an award tonight or not, you've all played a part in what has been a fantastic season. You are all winners.

Thank you for your effort, commitment and teamwork throughout the year.

Here's to another great season, Tigers! πŸ―πŸ’š

This year, over 400 children from 20 local Barrow and Furness
schools have linked with the Peace Pitch here at Barrow Celtic through Step up and Play.

This included our Remembrance tournament in November and the biggest girls tourney ever held in Barrow as part on International Women's Week with The Stanway Cup.

On Friday, we hosted our second Garricha Inclusion tournament. We had double the schools and the vsst majority were kids who have never had the chance to play.

Here's to 2026 to 27!
