Age UK Barrow Charity Shop A local shop raising funds for services provided in Barrow by Age UK for the older community.

We sell quality used clothes, books, bric a brac, furniture and white goods.

Please be aware, a fake £20 was taken for payment today at our shop. The man was in his late 20s. Waited until a queue had formed and till staff were busy and distracted. Very obvious fake. But taken none the less. My staff are usually very diligent but as things become busy it is easy to become less observant.
Just giving you the heads up. We work too hard to let this happen.

**Please Note** Our office and charity shop will close at 12pm on Thursday 21st December and we will reopen on Wednesday 3rd January 2024.

❄️❄️ IMPORTANT NOTICE ❄️❄️ due to the adverse weather conditions and freezing temperatures expected overnight. Our office at College House and Charity shop on Wilkie Road, will be CLOSED tomorrow (MONDAY 4th DEC)
We want to ensure our staff, volunteer and customers safety. The pavements and car parks are extremely slippy and dangerous underfoot.

Our staff will still be working from home but our telephones will have an answerphone option if you’d like to leave a message and we will aim to get back to you as soon as possible.

Please stay safe and warm and don’t go out unless it’s absolutely necessary ⛄️
