We are delighted to be featured in Go All In 2026's special edition newsletter focused on great stories from Pledge Partners across the UK.

Go All In is a national movement to get everyone reading. 2026 is the National Year of Reading, a UK-wide campaign designed to help more people rediscover the joy of reading.

We are proud to be supporting this campaign, alongside our partners The Book Fairies and Bookfairies_southwales, with our Reading on the Rails Project, where adults and children's books are made freely available on board trains and between stations.

Be inspired by reading the full newsletter showcasing how organisations from different sectors are Going All In on the things that matter to them and their community, through reading. πŸ”— Link below πŸ‘‡

Did you know ⁉️ throughout September you can enjoy FREE entry to some of Wales' lesser-known and smaller-scale sites, several of which are usually closed to the public.

It's all part of Cadw's annual Open Doors festival and contribution to the European Heritage Days initiative.

Alongside free entry, hundreds of Wales' historic sites will be offering events and guided tours. If you would like to join in the celebration of Wales' built heritage, search Cadw Open Doors' interactive map πŸ—ΊοΈ.

πŸ“Έ πŸ“ Llandaff Cathedral will open its doors on 12 September, offering a chance to explore the cathedral archives, join a guided tour, as well as a rare chance to take a tour of the Jasper Tower. Additionally, the cathedral organists will offer a demonstration of the cathedral's 2010 Nicholson organ, the largest new organ of its kind in the UK. Booking essential for the tower tours.

We recently visited Merthyr Tydfil Osteoporosis Support Group to do a Railway Memories session.

The group shared lots of lovely memories of their trips on the Valley Lines and brought along some fascinating, historical photos πŸ“Έ. It was pleasure to work with the group and learn more about rail travel back in the day. Their memories, along with others, will be collated into a collection to remember and celebrate our railway heritage.

Here's a taster of some of the memories they shared.
