Disability Confident Employer Day is taking place on Wednesday 16 September, from 10am–12:30pm at Merthyr Tydfil Jobcentre.
The event is aimed at people with a disability, providing an opportunity to meet Disability Confident employers, explore employment opportunities and find out more about the support available.
For anyone whose disability has been a barrier to employment, this could be a useful opportunity to speak directly with employers in a supportive environment and find out what adjustments and support may be available.
The event will also provide information around work experience, placements and Access to Work, helping people understand the options available to support them into employment.
