Trek4Ceylon Trek4Ceylon (T4C) cycle across Sri Lanka as a symbol of healing, restoration and hope for this island nation.

Trek4Ceylon Ltd is a charity registered in the United Kingdom, which raises funds through cycling, marathons, trekking, walking and other activities to provide support to the medical infrastructure and underprivileged communities in Sri Lanka and other countries across the world. We ride together across Sri Lanka as a visible symbol of our hope and desire to bring physical, emotional and mental healing, as well as unity and peace, to a land scarred by war and division. Trek4Ceylon is run by a group of volunteers who are keen to help the less fortunate, and strive to operate the charity with integrity and transparency. The bike ride is organised and run by a dedicated T4C team. We work together with other Trek for Ceylon charities based in Canada, Australia, USA and Sri Lanka. Please contact us if you require a charitable donation receipt.

*🚴 T4C 2027 Ride – Pre-Ride Recce*

On Sept 27th a team kicked off , journeying Colombo β†’ Negombo β†’ Dambulla β†’ Trincomalee, and mapped out one of the most exciting sections β€” the Day 3 Trincomalee Loop!

Joined by T4C riders Karuna πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ, Reza πŸ‡±πŸ‡°, David πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ and Sanjeewa πŸ‡±πŸ‡°, along with some of our local East Coast riders, we explored an incredible route through Trincomalee, Kantalai and Kinniya β€” village roads, paddy fields, coastal stretches and harbour views. Absolutely breathtaking!

We may be six months away from T4C 2027, but organisers are already busy making logistical arrangements.

The routes are being surveyed. The plans are in full swing.

Six months to go! πŸš΄πŸ‡±πŸ‡°

It was a pleasure today for Julian Brainerd (Canadian Trek4Ceylon Director and Global Project Representative) and David Rasiah (Founder Trek4Ceylon) to meet the new Canadian Second Secretary, to Sri Lanka and the Maldives Dr Catherine Blanchard, on behalf of Trek4Ceylon, at the Canadian High Commission.

Dr Blanchard was very interested in the Trek4Ceylon initiative and intends to visit St Luke’s Methodist Mission Hospital in due course.

Additionally, she is encouraged by the involvement of a Canadian contingent at the 2027 ride and is keen to meet the participants.

This is a short video highlighting our Marshal and Head of Security, Pubudu Seniviratne’s dedication to the cause.

I’m sure that everyone from T4C 2026, especially those in Group 3, remember Pubudu and his awesome support vehicle.
