☀️ Thank you to everyone who helped to organise such a special celebration of our community for our Tottenham Solidarity Summer with Wards Corner CBS & Tower Gardens Community Corner ☀️

Celebration and joy are essential to strengthen our communities when we come together to protect the spaces we need for our community to thrive. Joy is resistance! ❤️

✨ Thank you to everyone for a wonderful first week back! Swipe to see our exciting schedule with free activities for Week Two: kids activities, workshops (including retrofit!), political education and the COMMUNITY ASSEMBLY‼️

🪴Thanks also to our amazing volunteers for clearing the garden last week to make space for activities! The garden will be open from 2pm everyday, except on Sunday (from 5pm).

One year later, we have been granted access to our beloved garden. Now, we need to make sure it’s safe and usable for our families to enjoy our summer programme. Join us on Monday at midday for a community garden clean up, followed by a picnic from 5pm!

After months of negotiation, Haringey council has agreed to our first campaign demands. They will:
• Keep our community hub open for the summer holidays
• Work with residents to explore alternatives to demolition

On this Friday 10th April, we’ll have a flower workshop with Fortaleza Latina, we’ll be making banners together, and we’ll be preparing our music for the party! 📢✨
