🕊️ Webinar series: Women Resisting Militarism & Demanding Feminist Peace and Justice.

In 2025, world military spending reached $2.8 trillion, with Asia and the Pacific seeing some of the fastest increases – diverting resources away from social services that women and their families depend on.

In response, APWLD is hosting a webinar series to bring forward the voices of women in Asia and the Pacific living under militarism, expose how rising military budgets, bases and resource extraction impact communities and the climate, and strengthen calls to defund war and fund feminist peace and justice.

The POWER Group has been monitoring progress on gender equality at the
International AIDS Conference since AIDS2016. This poster reports our findings on
women's representation at AIDS2024.

We are looking for a Peer Support Worker to join our team in the Hertfordshire area, working as part of Chelsea & Westminster specialist HIV clinics at Stevenage, Watford and Hatfield clinics in partnership with PlusHealth and Chelsea & Westminster hospital. The applicant needs to be living openly with HIV, prepared to travel to the hospital sites as it’s a clinic based role.
