Doing the Walthamstow Art Trail this weekend?

Be sure to drop by The Mill to view our new Summer Exhibition! In the spirit of the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition, this exhibition has no set theme - though our selection process was considerably less ruthless! Well worth the visit, our exhibition includes 59 diverse artworks showcasing the creative community in the area.

This Saturday (6 June) from 10:30am to noon, they'll also be an opportunity to meet the artists and indulge in late breakfast snacks. A perfect way to start off the trail!

This is it! Richard returned to The Mill after 7 weeks of walking to raise money for The Mill and celebrate his 70th birthday. He smashed through the initial goal, totalling over 830km and incredibly taking more than 1,045,000 steps!!

The community wholeheartedly congratulate Richard on achieving such an amazing feat, raising money for this special place called The Mill, and supporting our vibrant and diverse community! The money raised will go towards the running of The Mill so it can stay open and be here for everyone!

If you can, there’s still a little time left to donate and leave some words of congratulations through JustGiving: https://www.justgiving.com/page/making70happen

What a great celebration! Congratulations to Richard B for reaching his goal, and then some!

☀️Our very first Summer Exhibition is now up! 🖼️

In the spirit of the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition, this exhibition has no set theme - though our selection process was considerably less ruthless. This inclusive exhibition proudly showcases the diverse and creative community in the area.

We had a fantastic number of submissions! The exhibition is also part of the Walthamstow Art Trail so well worth a visit as you make your way around!

As always, many pieces are available to buy, with proceeds going to the local artist as well as towards the running of The Mill.  Find a special piece to take home! 🧡

The exhibition will remain on display at The Mill until Saturday, 8 August 2026.
