EID gives us an opportunity for both tangible and intangible cultural manifestation💪💪 The importance of intangible cultural heritage is not the cultural manifestation itself but rather the wealth of knowledge and skills that are transmitted through it from one generation to the next. This is a highly important element of culture, as tangibility is derived from intangibility!
Festivals are also a moment of reflection, not just coming together to celebrate, but activating the thinking mode on life gone and the one ahead.
When the festival comes, our aura changes, and positivity is all around us 💕💕 It also gets people directed towards faith, especially people who have always been into it. It gives us hope, joy, and a celebration of identity.

We have in 3D, this year as we had before where this time around, we have two 3Dears (people of 3D) for the first time - Al-Hadj Bakary Krubally, Director of Loans & Debt Management & Economic Cooperation, Gambia, Momodou Salieu Jallow, UK. Two others have been there before: Permanent Secretary Ebrima Sisawo and Imam Gassama, all stood side by side, united in devotion, transcending barriers of language, race, and nationality just completed Hajj in Makkah.
Would this not be enough for humble servants to learn from He Who has endowed us with lives and is He Who causes us to die, and He Who will then resurrect us? The 1st half of the paragraph is derived from an authentic Book, and in the last half, I changed the second-person pronoun to the first-person plural pronoun of SURAH AL-HAJJ AYAT 66 (22:66).
Ya Al-Hadj Imam Gassama of London Mosque has frequented Mecca for some time as part of his entrusted job to help people perform Hajj according to the SUNNAH of our beloved Prophet (PBUH). May the joy of this ritual enhance their spirit with excitement and grace for the rest of their lives - Ameeeeeeen YARABI🤲🤲
Hajj is not just a journey of miles; it is a journey of the heart, a pilgrimage of faith, and a transformation of the soul. Perhaps one can ask a critical question as to what is our role as professionals in solving some of the maladies consuming our continent alive! What is our role in solving problems like poverty, corruption, poor governance, tribalism, nepotism, etc.
As professionals if we truly believe what we learnt, we can do many mundane things that can impact lives. You don't need a gun to do this! We can education our people on the possible consequences of these vices here and hereafter when we take part in these evils🦅🦅🦅

In our 3D view of life, we encourage the spread of knowledge for the betterment of society by distinguishing between the good and bad and following our custom of selflessly serving without expecting a reward from man-made of bone and flesh! It is our ardent belief as V. E.
