Last week’s volunteer meet-up at 🦊 was a brilliant reminder of what makes Palmers Green special — people who care about their high street and are ready to get stuck in. From greening and street art to bringing in new businesses, there’s loads happening — and plenty of ways to get involved.

We’re changing how we work, focusing on smaller, action-led groups where even a little time can make a big difference. Whether it’s 30 minutes litter picking, helping contact new businesses, or supporting events — it all counts.

🎯 Trader Target – our work to attract great new businesses to the high street.
It’s a great chance to hear what we’ve been working on, get inspired, and find out simple ways you can get involved. You don’t need to be an expert and there’s no big time commitment – lots of small contributions add up to real change.
🎬 We’ll also be premiering our short film about bringing a cinema back to Palmers Green and sharing the latest on the campaign.
Whether you want to volunteer, share ideas, or just meet others who care about the area — come along and be part of the conversation.

All this rain, coupled with the long dark evenings are not good for our local shops and businesses so please resist the urge to hunker down. Get out there - buy that coffee, pop into the pub for a pint, purchase that card or treat yourself to that dinner. Your local high street needs you! 🫵

2025: What a year for Palmers Green

From new public spaces and buzzing community events to brilliant independent businesses opening their doors, 2025 has been a year of community, creativity and new beginnings 💚

We’ve seen Devonshire Square come alive with markets and events, neighbours coming together through volunteering and local projects, and our high street refreshed with fantastic new places to eat, drink and spend time.

A huge welcome to all the new businesses who’ve joined Palmers Green this year – from cosy coffee stops and sweet treats to live music, fresh restaurant openings and beautifully designed new shopfronts. You’re helping make our neighbourhood more vibrant, social and full of life.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported local, volunteered their time, turned up to events or simply shared the love for PG. Here’s to building on this momentum and making 2026 even better ✨

Cheeky Friday night takeaway from 🇮🇹I had the A Frittatin Past’ E Patan which is deep fried pasta with smoked cheese. 😋 Delicious! Followed by the extremely tasty Ortolana pizza 🍕 🍕🍕super fresh and speedily delivered 💚🤍♥️
