🕊️ Community Notice – Supporting the Family of Zeel Rakeshkumar Surti

We are sharing this appeal with the DMMUK community following the tragic passing of Zeel Rakeshkumar Surti, aged 29, who sadly passed away on 12 August 2026 following a sudden cardiac arrest while at work.

Zeel was the only child of his parents, who live in Bardoli, Surat, Gujarat. His family is currently facing the difficult process of bringing him home to India, along with the associated costs of repatriation, funeral and final rites, documentation and other immediate arrangements.

A GoFundMe appeal has been set up independently by Zeel’s close friends and roommates to support his family during this extremely difficult time.

DMMUK is sharing this appeal solely to bring it to the attention of our community. The fundraiser is organised and managed independently by Zeel’s friends and is not being administered or managed by DMMUK.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Nori Nem (Vaddhu & Rotla) event on Friday 21st August 2026. It was wonderful to see so many members of our community come together to enjoy this special tradition and a home-cooked meal.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the volunteers and committee members who gave their time and worked together behind the scenes to make the event such a success. Your support, hard work and contribution were greatly appreciated. ❤️

A special thank you to Vilashben Tailor, who took the lead in organising and coordinating the event, and to Indiraben Tailor for the Noria Bapa Sthapana. 🙏

🙏 Thank You for Attending Our AGM

A sincere thank you to all our community members who attended the DMMUK Annual General Meeting 2026, whether in person or online. We appreciate you taking the time to be present, ask questions, share your views and actively participate in the discussions.
