'A year ago, Rayshon underwent major heart surgery. The journey since then has been longer and more challenging than we had hoped, and his recovery is still ongoing. Yet through every step, Rayshon continues to greet each day with a smile that brightens the hearts of everyone around him.

Despite living with such a complex heart condition, he amazes us time and time again with his incredible strength, courage, and determination. Watching him face each obstacle with such resilience has been both humbling and inspiring. Rayshon is truly a remarkable boy, and we are endlessly proud of how far he has come and the joy and hope he brings to our family and community'.

We are very happy to be supporting parent and family facilities at Evelina London Children’s Hospital. This includes chairs, sofas, stools, a table and artwork for the lounge on Edward Ward - the brand new cardiac ward for young patients.
These spaces are absolutely vital for our families, to rest and restore, to make drinks and snacks and spend time together.

Comfortable chairs and other furniture we purchased have also been shared between the cardiac and respiratory wards. Thank you as always to our incredible donors and fundraisers. This would not be possible without you ❤️

The Brompton Fountain is dedicated to supporting children’s heart, lung and critical care at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust encompassing Royal Brompton Hospital, St Thomas's Hospital, Harefield Hospital and Evelina London Hospital.

This means that wherever a child is treated within the Trust’s network, be that in hospital or in the community, they (and their families) will continue to receive the strongest support from our charity. ❤️💙

We are thrilled to introduce you to The Brompton Fountain's first Community Champion in Hertfordshire - Kerry!

This exciting voluntary role will see Kerry connecting heart and lung children under Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and their families in their local area.

Whilst our charity and network of partnering hospitals are based in London, community is at the core of what we do, and we believe bonds between those with shared experiences should not be jeopardised simply due to distance. Whether it be a support session in your local cafe, or a fun in-person event at your kid's favourite venue, Kerry is ready to create fun and safe environments for our Hertfordshire families close to home with full support and funding from our charity.

Volunteering is a great way to get involved with The Brompton Fountain. You’ll work alongside our staff team to make a meaningful difference for children with complex heart and lung conditions and their families.

We are seeking volunteers to support our in-hospital activities, fundraising and community engagement events throughout London and the South East.

We value our volunteers and reflect this in the support we give them. There are opportunities for those who would like to commit regularly, as well as tasks or activities for those that prefer to help on a more adhoc basis. Voluntary work is also valuable for building a CV, especially during or after a break from paid work, whilst studying, or during a gap year.
