Open Doors Open Doors, delivered by Build UK, takes visitors behind the scenes to showcase careers in construction.

The dates for Open Doors 2027 will be announced shortly. Open Doors will run from Monday 13 until Saturday 18 March 2023 and offers people the unique opportunity to go behind the site hoardings of live sites! We would like to invite you to take a look into the diverse world of modern construction and meet the fantastic people who make it all happen. So, whether you are thinking about

work and a career or just curious to see what goes on behind those big hoardings – Open Doors has something for you!

Want to help shape the future of careers education, whilst building your confidence and skills along the way?

The The Careers and Enterprise Company (CEC) is looking for a diverse group of young people to join its Youth Advisory Group (YAG).

Whether you are still in education, embarking on your career journey, out of education and are still deciding what to do, or are now in employment -
your voice matters, and CEC wants to hear it!

As a YAG member, you will:

📣 Work alongside CEC to ensure young people’s voices shape decisions
📣 Use your lived experience to challenge and influence CEC’s work
📣 Develop your skills and access opportunities to help improve careers education for all young people
