Open Doors - Get into Construction

Open Doors, delivered by Build UK, takes visitors behind the scenes to showcase careers in construction.

The next Open Doors will take place throughout March 2027. Open Doors will run from Monday 13 until Saturday 18 March 2023 and offers people the unique opportunity to go behind the site hoardings of live sites! We would like to invite you to take a look into the diverse world of modern construction and meet the fantastic people who make it all happen. So, whether you are thinking about work and a career or just curious to see what goes on behind those big hoardings – Open Doors has something for you!

🎒 Back to school season is here!

Today is an extra special day for Marisa, daughter of Open Doors Project Manager, Tamsin, who has her very first day at primary school! It's a big milestone, and a great reminder that it's never too early to start thinking about future careers.

Whatever stage of education you're at, there's no wrong time to start exploring your options and as you can see, Marisa is already keen to investigate construction roles.

📅 We'd love to see you and your kids at Open Doors this March -- join our mailing list to be notified of events in your area or ask your child's school to get involved at the link in our bio.
