Safar is not a month of bad luck. The Prophet ﷺ taught that Adwa means disease does not spread on its own power but only by Allah's permission, bad omens are false beliefs that signs, birds, or events can bring good or bad luck, and Hāmah is not a real supernatural being. It refers to a false pre-Islamic belief involving an owl or bird connected to the spirit of a deceased person, and the Prophet ﷺ explicitly rejected this superstition.

"Run away from the l***r as you run away from a lion" means Muslims should take sensible precautions to protect themselves from illness and avoid unnecessary exposure to disease.

Safar is not different from any other month, and Muslims should trust in Allah. Support our dawah efforts and help spread authentic Islamic knowledge.
