In the inspiring words of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, the ‘World Yogasana Championship’ being held just before Yoga Day is like a wonderful “double dose” for our health and well-being.

Let us all become a part of this global celebration and embrace yoga in our daily lives as a step towards a healthier, more balanced, and harmonious future.

The Sudbury Lions Club, last Sunday, made a commendable achievement by inducting 11 new members, with one more to join in the near future. This success serves as a testament to the club’s dynamic nature and its commitment to expanding its membership in alignment with its Mission 1.5.

The inductions were carried out by IPCC Kavaljit Dev and DG Harvinder Virdee.

Message from International President Lion A.P. Singh:
It was a profound honor to join the Lions of MD 105 British Isles for their Annual Convention. The spirit of service and dedication throughout the British Isles is truly inspiring!
During our visit, we had the privilege of meeting with the Council of Governors, and shared goals for the remainder of the year, leaving them with a clear challenge: Finish the year strong and keep our momentum growing. Our mission depends on our ability to expand our reach and welcome new hands to our service.
A highlight of the trip was reconnecting with PIDs Phil Nathan, Howard Lee and Geoff Leeder.
The convention floor was a vibrant testament to why we do what we do. From innovative local initiatives to global outreach, the service projects highlighted were a powerful reminder of our collective impact. We were particularly moved by the opportunity to roll up our sleeves and participate directly in their service programs—experiencing firsthand the heart and hard work of the local Lions.
Thank you CC Stu and your entire team for your hospitality and for your unwavering commitment to our objects. Let us continue to lead to serve and serve to lead as we grow!
