We’re going home ✈️🐾

Our sixth rescue flight of the year is officially in the books! 💙

Eleven precious furbabies have set off towards brighter futures: 7 to their forever homes, and 4 into the arms of loving foster parents. Here’s to safe travels, happy endings, and the exciting new chapters that await them! 🐾✈️💙

🐾 Asher: Found outside a teashop at around 6 months old, likely abandoned and unwelcome there.
🐾 BooBoo & Rambo: Just 6–8 weeks old when they were found dumped in a rescuer’s garage.
🐾 Cooper & Sunny: Two of seven tiny kittens found dumped together in a box in terrible condition, at just around 6 weeks old.
🐾 Foxie: Just six weeks old when she was found alone, frightened, malnourished and desperately searching for food.
🐾 Liquorice: Just six months old when a car accident left him with internal bruising and injuries, bringing his life on the streets to an end.
🐾 Marmalade: Less than a year old when he appeared at a managed feeding station, frightened and struggling with street life. An ear infection eventually brought him indoors and to safety.
🐾 Raffaello: Found alone in a park as a tiny, frightened kitten, struggling to survive while being bullied by older cats.
🐾 Toffee: Hardly six weeks old when found under a car, barely able to navigate with severely infected eyes. Sadly, despite treatment, one eye couldn’t be saved.

Rescue flights are at the heart of our work, safely delivering vulnerable cats to second chances in the UK. None of this would be possible without our incredible fosters, adopters, volunteers, supporters, relocation partner PetsPassport , and every unseen hand behind the scenes.

World, meet Mama Noor 🪽

Some cats quietly find their way into your heart. And then there are cats like Noor, the ones who completely steal it.

Mama Noor is, quite simply, the perfect cat. Gentle, affectionate, calm and incredibly sweet; the kind of girl who makes you wonder how anyone could ever have let her down.

At just one year old, this beautiful British Shorthair mix was abandoned in a box alongside her seven tiny kittens. When we found her, she was malnourished, dehydrated and understandably confused.

Yet despite everything she had been through, Noor never stopped trusting people. From the very beginning, she was nothing but a loving, gentle soul. It was immediately obvious that she had once been someone’s pet.

And then we watched her become the most devoted mama. Noor cared for her babies with endless patience and tenderness. She gave them everything she had, even when she herself had so little.

But now, it’s Noor’s turn.

For once, we want someone to put her first. To love her simply because she is Noor. To give her a warm bed, a family of her own and a home where she will never have to wonder if she’ll be abandoned again. She deserves to be cherished. To be spoiled. To fall asleep every night knowing that she is finally, truly home.

Sometimes the most deserving cats are the ones who have already given so much love to everyone else.

We honestly cannot imagine a more wonderful companion. Four of babies have already found their happily ever after — now it’s time for their beautiful mama to find hers. 🐾🤍

World, meet Rory 🧡

Sometimes, it’s hard to understand how someone so tiny can endure something so cruel.

Rory was only 4–5 weeks old when a kind stranger spotted three boys in a parking lot in Abu Dhabi, playing with what he initially thought was a football. When he looked closer, he realised the horrifying truth — they were kicking a tiny kitten.

He immediately intervened, picked Rory up and rushed him to the vet.

Thankfully, Rory escaped without serious injuries, but he was exhausted, dehydrated and completely vulnerable — just a tiny baby who should have been safe, warm and loved.

And somehow, despite everything, Rory never stopped trusting people.

Now around 3.5 months old, Rory has blossomed into the sweetest, most affectionate little boy. He is chatty, playful and full of kitten energy, but above all, he absolutely loves his humans.

Give him the slightest touch and the purrs begin. Pick him up and he’ll happily be carried around, cuddled and fussed over. It’s difficult to believe that a kitten treated so terribly by people could still have so much faith in them.

Rory is also very social with other cats. He loves playing with his foster brothers and curling up with them afterwards for a nap, so we would love to find him a home with another friendly, playful cat to grow up with.

After such a frightening beginning, Rory deserves a life where his only worries are which toy to chase, where to nap and which human to climb onto for cuddles.

Meet Valarie 🌸

Rescued at just 1.5 months old, Valarie’s story is one of heartbreak, survival, and a very well-deserved second chance.

She was found completely alone outside a shopping mall while our team was carrying out TNR work. There was no mum and no siblings in sight — just a tiny kitten trying to survive amongst several adult cats.

The Dubai heat is ruthless for cats living on the streets, but for little Valarie, the situation could have been fatal. She was malnourished, suffering from infections in her mouth, and trying to fend for herself at an age when she should still have had her mum looking after her.

We simply couldn’t leave her behind.

Valarie is also the second little life we spoke about who, through a bittersweet chain of events, came into our care because of Mano. We’d like to think that something beautiful came from such a heartbreaking loss. 🕊️

Since coming into our care, Valarie has blossomed into the loveliest little kitten. She is sweet, affectionate and playful, with all the crazy kitten energy you would expect at her age. With humans, she is an absolute sweetheart and will happily purr away endlessly while soaking up all the love and attention she can get.

She is currently being fostered alongside other kittens and is still learning that other cats can be friends and that she is finally somewhere safe. After having to survive amongst adult cats at such a young age, we’re happy to let her build that confidence in her own time.

We want Valarie to have the life that tiny kitten outside the shopping mall should always have had — one filled with love, security and care, where she never again has to worry about her next meal or whether she is safe.

This International Cat Day, we want to talk about something that goes far beyond rescue.

Animal welfare isn’t just what happens when a cat is sick, injured, abandoned or already in crisis. And it isn’t a responsibility that belongs only to rescuers, charities or shelters.

It happens long before that.

It’s the person who notices the cat outside and chooses not to look away. The neighbour who provides food, clean water and shelter. The community that comes together to neuter a colony before more kittens are born.

And it happens inside our homes too.

It’s providing veterinary care, neutering and microchipping. It’s creating a safe and enriching environment. It’s understanding their needs, planning for their future and making a commitment that lasts their lifetime.

Rescue will always be there for the cats who need it. But by the time a cat needs rescuing, something has often already gone wrong.

We cannot rescue our way out of every welfare problem. Prevention, responsibility and compassion have to come first.

So this , let’s not only celebrate how much we love cats. Let’s show that love in the choices we make for them — whether they live on our streets or sleep beside us at home.

You don’t have to be a rescuer to make a difference.

Notice. Protect. Neuter. Advocate. Care.

Because animal welfare belongs to all of us.

🚨 URGENT: We need your help for a large cat colony in South London 🚨

We recently came across a large colony of cats in South London being fed and cared for by one incredibly kind lady who is doing her best.

Despite her efforts, she hasn’t the resources to neuter the cats and the colony has grown beyond what one person can realistically manage.

One of our team members visited this week to assess the situation, and what we found was heartbreaking.

Around 40 cats are currently living there. Some are friendly and desperate for affection, some are nervous, and few are feral. There are kittens, pregnant females, and many cats urgently needing support.

We reached out to larger rescue organisations hoping they could help, but due to overwhelming demand and limited resources, they are unable to contribute at this time.

That means these cats are relying on us.

This is one of the biggest rescue projects we have ever taken on.

Without intervention, this colony could quickly grow to well over 100 cats by Christmas. We will do everything we can to help them - but we can't do it alone.

Many of these cats are friendly and need safe places to decompress, receive vet care, and begin their adoption journey.

Even fostering one cat would make an enormous difference.

Meet Bano 🐾

Bano’s story is one of heartbreak, hope, and a second chance. She was rescued alongside her sister, Mano, after a chance encounter with a visitor from Scotland who instantly fell in love with Mano and hoped to bring her home to the UK. Sadly, Mano became very unwell and, despite everyone’s efforts, she passed away.

But through the sadness came a new beginning. Our rescuer simply couldn’t leave Bano behind. We truly believe Mano’s story had a purpose—that because of her, Bano and another kitten were given the chance to be rescued, protected, and find the loving homes they deserve.

Today, Bano is a happy, playful little kitten with a huge personality. She is full of curiosity, energy, and the kind of crazy kitten enthusiasm that keeps everyone around her entertained. She loves to play, explore, and throw herself into every adventure. Bano is quick to show her affectionate side and loves attention from the people she trusts.

Bano is the perfect mix of fun and affection—a little bundle of energy who will make you laugh one minute and melt your heart the next. She enjoys the company of other cats and would love a home where she has plenty of playtime, enrichment, and love.

After everything she has been through, Bano is ready for the happy ending she deserves.

She can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but only while she figures everything out. Once she settles in, she transforms into the funniest little whirlwind of kitten energy! Olive is playful, active, endlessly curious, and always looking for her next adventure. Whether she’s chasing toys, scaling the tallest cat tree, or zooming around with her feline friends, she gives everything 100%.

She gets along with other cats of all ages, from tiny kittens to confident adults, and would love a home with a playful feline companion.
