Globe Community Project

A special moment from the Dangoor Awards! 💙

It was wonderful to come together with so many inspiring organisations from across London, all working to make a difference in their communities.

We're proud to be recognised alongside projects doing such important work, and grateful to everyone who continues to support Globe Community Project.

A lovely evening celebrating the power of community! ✨

🚣‍♀️ They did it!

Our incredible rowers took on a huge sponsored rowing challenge to raise vital funds for Globe Community Project. 💙

Through determination, teamwork and plenty of encouragement along the way, they pushed themselves to support our work tackling loneliness.

A huge thank you to our brilliant rowers and everyone who donated, shared and cheered them on.

Every donation helps us continue bringing people together and making sure no one has to face loneliness alone.

🏆 We won!

We’re so happy to share that we've been named a Winning Project at the London Dangoor Awards 2026, recognising outstanding service to faith and belief communities across Greater London.

This award belongs to our community, our staff, volunteers, partners, supporters and, most importantly, the people who come through our doors and make Globe Community Project what it is. 💛

Every conversation, shared meal, activity and new friendship helps us build a community where people feel less alone and more connected.

A huge thank you the London Dangoor Awards for recognising our work. We’re very proud of how far our little community has come, and excited for what’s ahead.

⚽ Meet Esther, our new Volunteer Coordinator!

Esther has always loved bringing people together, and football has played a big part in her own story. Now, she’s bringing that passion to Globe Community Project and our Route to Roots project. 💙

We caught up with Esther to chat about football, community, connection and what she’s most excited about in her new role.
