Forest Academy's RE:SET journey is a fantastic example of the impact that teachers and students can have on their whole community and beyond. The campaign video created by Year 4 and 5 children is now being shared across Tender's network as an example of best practice, helping to inspire schools across the country!

This recognition celebrates not only the children's creativity and achievements but also the exceptional staff team, whose dedication, encouragement and support helped turn a great idea into a lasting legacy.

Holly asks the questions others are thinking.

Kian turns ideas into powerful words.

They each brought something unique to our workshops, but they share something important: a commitment to speaking up and helping those around them.

We're delighted to celebrate Holly from Barca Leeds and Kian from the Matthew Project in Norfolk, as winners of this year's Being Bold and Outstanding Creative Response awards.

Holly changed the room with her curiosity. She never sat back quietly if she was unsure about something. She asked. Her "what if?", "why?" and "how?" questions encouraged others to speak up, helping everyone get more from the experience.

Kian did it with his creativity. During the workshops, he wrote a powerful set of lyrics that showcased not only his talent for the spoken word, but also the care he shows for the people around him.

As our CEO Susie McDonald says: "If you want to feel optimistic about the future, all you need to do is walk into a Tender workshop and listen to the young people talking about what matters to them. Our reason for optimism is in this generation."
