Our vision is of an education system where every young person has a trusted adult by their side throughout secondary school.

FBB supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who are passionate about football but disengaged at school in order to help them finish school with the skills and grades to make a successful transition into adulthood. We do this by providing long-term, intensive support, built around relationships and young people’s passions, in the classroom and beyond.

How can football can shape the future of Men’s health?

Tonight Football Beyond Borders will join the conversation at the Labour Party Conference of Men’s Health: At Our Doorstep. We’ll be sharing our experiences of football as a tool for creating conversations, connections, and community.

Leading voices from across the nation will come together to discuss the what the Men’s Health Strategy means for Men and boys throughout the UK.

Our panel this year includes Minister Jake Richards and Mayor David Skaith, as we discuss how to ensure the Men’s Health Strategy delivers for men and boys in every postcode.

FBB practitioner Tom Highton will be speaking alongside a young person in his group about the role of trusted adults in the lives of young people.

Tom and Elliott represent our relational approach towards achieving successful school outcomes through building deep and meaningful relationships.

Spotlighting young people in our conversations allows for the future of men’s voices to be heard on a large scale. From the FBB classroom to the national context, we want to hear how the youth experience boyhood and masculinity.

This is what four years of FBB looks like. 🎓
Four years of football.
Four years of classrooms.
Four years of trips, tournaments, challenges, conversations, friendships and memories.
And four years of having a trusted adult in your corner.

In July, our London Class of ’26 graduated from the FBB programme, marking the end of their secondary school journey with us and the beginning of whatever comes next.
They joined us as Year 8s. Now, they’re heading into the next chapter with the skills, confidence and accountability to help them take control of their future.

Because for us, graduation isn’t just about reaching the end.
It’s about making sure young people leave knowing they have the tools, relationships and belief in themselves to decide where they go next.

We couldn’t be prouder of the Class of ’26. ❤️

Our first ever FBB North-West Cup Final 🏆

In June, we took over the Vestacare Stadium to give our North West cohort the full Cup Final experience 💥

Football is a huge part of our curriculum, not just for the game, but for the SEL lessons that come with it.

From the first round to the final, County High School Leftwich and Lymm High School showed what it means to grow together, build camaraderie and ride out the difficult moments.

Two groups. One trophy. One unforgettable day.

The Nike London x is officially wrapped ❤️

4 weeks worth of football camp completely free for young people in London. A fantastic effort by all involved to provide such an amazing opportunity for young people to remain connected and active through the summer.

What did you struggle with when you were 13 years old?

Broadcaster, journalist and former Blue Peter presenter has spent his career telling other people’s stories. In Episode 3 of The Shape Up, he shares some of his own.

Joining Kassius, Sheikh, Sultan, Durelle and Kai from Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy, alongside FBB practitioners Ezekiel Agyemang and Fiona Stebbing, Ayo reflects on the experiences that shaped him while listening to the hopes, challenges and perspectives of the next generation.

Together, they explore identity, stereotypes, ambition and what it means to stay true to yourself in a world full of expectations.
