Thank you to all who made this happen and came along for the unveiling of our Lewisham Heritage plaque on 31st June. It was a wonderful morning hearing about the heritage of the Deptford Ragged School, The Shaftesbury Christian Centre and Princess Louise Institute.
Creating and installing a Lewisham Heritage plaque is a result of our Heritagefund Educating Deptford project.

- Heritage for the funding that has made this plaque possible

Bear Cubs Abundance Art piece loading.....

The exhibition has been up for a few weeks but here are some behind the scenes of Bear Cubs' pieces focusing on the theme of abundance.

The artwork is inspired by John 10:10: The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly.

A few weeks ago we christened The Bear Kitchen with bacon butties, tea and coffee and lots of joy. We placed the items we’d purchased and placed them in the cupboards ready for ‘Cooking with English’ a free English class starting in April.
