This Black History Month, we’re taking a moment to honour our communities - the connections, networks and opportunities that help young people feel seen, supported and empowered to thrive.

As one of our trustees, Sir Keith Ajegbo, says: ‘Creating opportunities and networks is important because it provides chances for young people to fulfil their ambitions.’

📌 For us, honouring the Blueprint for All community means recognising the importance of creating spaces where people can build connections, access opportunities and feel that they belong.

Come along with Vanesia on a day in the life as a creative intern at  . Her internship was made possible through My Blueprint for All’s collaboration with Abel & Cole, creating a role that was filled with fun innovative tasks from the point of application to the very last day, all carefully curated to aid in developing candidates skills.
 
There’s a huge disparity in the number of graduates there are vs how many have been able to break into their desired industry, for many reasons such as financial difficulty, lack of diversity in the work place and insufficient experience. Research by postgraduate careers service prospects showed 96% of students admit that they face barriers when looking for jobs or apprenticeships due to a lack of skills and work experience.
