🎬 Stansted 15 – Cinema Screening & Panel Discussion
Today marks the final event of the ‘Migration on Film’ – Spring 2026 series at Goldsmiths 🎥
In this powerful closing screening, we present the landmark documentary “Stansted 15” by Sue Clayton.
In 2017, fifteen activists peacefully protested to stop unlawful deportations — and were later charged with terrorism.
What followed over the next two years is a story that raises urgent questions about justice, protest, and human rights.
✨ The evening also features the short film:
“We’ve Always Been Here” by BE (Migration Museum Community Curator)
🗣️ Panel Speakers Include:
• Prof. Sue Clayton (Goldsmiths)
• Mona Jamil (Migration Museum)
• Toby Nicholas (Migrants’ Rights Network)
• Dr Marta Minetti (Goldsmiths)
• Dr Sultan Doughan (Goldsmiths)
🎤 Chair: Natalie Katsou
🍲 Food available on-site by Plateful Cafe (refugee-led charity)
