To celebrate Creativity & Wellbeing Week 2026, we're giving you some Behind the Scenes photos from our recent rehearsals. Last week, we went to one of our favourite London rehearsal spaces, SDH Space Forest Hill, for 5 days of fun and devising for our new show, Whistle Stop. This new show for people with dementia and their carers is a story about trains and travelling - from the commuters, to the railway workers, to the hills and back.

The creative team involved in this first week of rehearsals are:
Rebecca Manson Jones - Concept & Direction
Gabriel Akamo and Yuwei Jing - Performers
Stu Barter - Sound Design & Composition
Jens Cole - Design
Sophie Holland - Movement Direction
Julia Crammer - Stage Manager
Will Monks - AV Consultant
Lara Marshall - Creative Access Support

We're currently booking care homes in London who would like a performance for their residents, between 6th July and 17th July 2026. Get in touch for more info and how to book:

Delighted to receive these Cards from Inclusion from our friends at Unlimited. We came across these cards at the Design & Disability exhibition at the V & A Museum and thought they were a fantastic way of putting accessibility and inclusion to the forefront of your thinking in a fun way. We'll be putting them to use!

You can download the game yourself from their website:

Few more spaces left for our online Chronically Creative session tomorrow, Tuesday 17th March at 2pm. If you've not been before, don't be shy. You're welcome to come with your camera on or off, chat or not chat, create or not create, be or just...be. Our warm, inclusive space (your words, not just ours!) offers a moment of calm and collective support while responding to a creative provocation.

So if you're feeling a bit alienated from others, maybe you've not been able to get out this weekend or longer, come and join Laura, Monique, Lara, and Sophie as they open the doors to the Chronically Creative cafe.

🚨Opportunity no. 2! 📢

Chugging along after our call out yesterday for performers, we're also looking for a collaborative Sound Designer/ Composer to create the soundscape for our new sensory show. Did we mention it's about trains? Train geekery would be a bonus ( 👀❤ ), as there will be moments of found sound (stations, trains, clockwork/ clocks).

Full details of skills needed for this role and application process can be found in the job pack on our website. Deadline for applications is Friday 27th March 2026 but we will meet people as they come in so don't delay.

📢 Opportunity! 🚨

We're developing a new sensory show and are looking for some talented people to join the team. We are looking for two generous-spirited, inventive performers with strong improvisation, non-verbal and movement skills (or dance background). The performers will form a contrasting and complementary duo in a semi-devised piece about 45-55 minutes long. Must be London-based.

'Whistle Stop' is an interactive, immersive, non-verbal sensory experience for people living with dementia and their carers. In the span of an hour, we will tell a story about trains and travelling. From the everyday commute to a high alpine adventure, across deserts and ravines, featuring would-be honeymooners and fare-dodging jokers, the high speed and the high jinx of the legendary railroads which have entranced people everywhere, all around the world and just around the corner.

Deadline to apply is Friday 10th April 2026 at midday. Head to our website for casting workshop dates, rehearsals, and touring dates, plus fees and more:
