The Baytree Centre is a social inclusion charity based in the heart of Brixton. We work with and empower women and girls through education and skills development programmes. Baytree supports inner city families by creating pathways towards social inclusion that focus on education, training, employment, health and social support measures in order to enhance confidence and self esteem and to promote
aspirations, community cohesion and cultural harmony. Adult Service:
ESOL, Literacy and Numeracy classes for women 18+
Youth Service:
Creative, active and fun clubs as well as academic support for girls aged 6-18
Support for newly arrived girls not in mainstream education (ESOL, Maths, Art, Cookery and activities that support cultural and social integration as well as mentoring to facilitate the school application process)
PEACH (Parents in the Education, Achievement and Character of their Children):
Personal and academic mentoring for girls
Mentoring and family enrichment sessions for mothers
