Paid opportunity for Disabled people: Please share with your networks and consider applying!
Are you interested in floating bus stops?
Are you a Disabled person?
Do you have experience of walking/wheeling, cycling or using higher-speed mobility aids around your local area, and/or experience of catching buses?
Would you be able to spare about 13 half days on weekdays during standard working hours between October 2026 and the end of 2027 to attend online meetings?
If so, why not consider applying to the Floating Bus Stops Disability Advisory Group?
This paid group will be contributing to new ATE/DfT-commissioned research into safety and accessibility of floating bus stops for all Disabled people walking/wheeling, cycling, using cycling-equivalent mobility aids and buses
The research is being carried out by a consortium led by Steer consultants. Wheels for Wellbeing are access leads for the project, and are facilitating the Disability Advisory Group.
