Our client, J, is 53 and lives alone, managing serious kidney, hearing and mental health conditions while surviving on Universal Credit. Without a working cooker, she's unable to prepare the nutritious meals her health depends on and is forced to rely on costly alternatives. A new cooker would bring comfort, dignity and stability during an incredibly difficult time. Any support, no matter how small, could make a life-changing difference.

Living on Pension and Pension Credit alone, this vulnerable gentleman cannot afford to replace his 20-year-old fridge freezer, which is no longer working properly and is pushing up his electricity bills. A new energy-efficient appliance would help him store food safely, reduce costs, and make a huge difference to his wellbeing.

A client of ours is on a reduced income of Pension and Pension Credits and is vulnerable. He has said he would be very grateful for any help he can get with a washer dryer, as he just doesn’t have the money to replace it. The washing machine he has is nearly 20 years old and barely working with leaks. He has said it would make a big difference to his life and also bring down his electric bill. His electric bill is extremely high due to his appliances not being energy efficient and only partially working.

Our client is a single man aged 62. He has been street homeless and housed through St Mungo's charity in a House of Multiple Occupation. His first language is Romanian and he is very isolated. He is not able to work due to his health conditions and is currently only receiving £413/month, the most basic amount from Universal Credit, to live off. Unfortunately, he was not aware that he had to pay for his electricity and six months after moving in he has a large bill to pay which is unaffordable.

Our client has severe health conditions that significantly limit her daily activities. She uses a wheelchair and often needs a full day to recover after simple errands. Her adult daughter, who shares many of the same conditions, is also her carer. A similar energy-tracking device has already helped her daughter manage her symptoms. Funding a tracker and membership for our client will help both women better understand their energy levels and coordinate essential daily tasks.
