Anna-Luisa will present “Expanding Tagalog Learning: Developing and Translating Multilingual Guidebooks for the Filipino Diaspora and Global Learners” as part of Panel 15: Pedagogy Abroad. Her presentation will explore ways to make Tagalog learning resources more accessible while strengthening language, cultural identity, and belonging among Filipinos abroad and among global learners.

Double the Reason to Celebrate! A Day of Fellowship, Food & Fun at the FWA-UK Bingo Fundraiser!

What a joyful afternoon of community spirit, laughter, and camaraderie! FWA-UK members, partners, and friends gathered for our summer Bingo Fundraising Afternoon on 15th August
2026, hosted in the sunny garden of our wonderful celebrant and host, Nieves Pascua Bates! ✨

Not only did we raise vital funds for FWA-UK’s scholarship and support the elderly and vulnerable charitable programmes, but we also had the joy of celebrating Nieves’ special day together!

COMELEC-OFOV & The Philippine Embassy in the United Kingdom invites all qualified Filipino citizens to register as Overseas voters.

Voters registration is available Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 4.30pm at the Consular Section of the Philippine Embassy in London.
(Valid Philippine passport required & personal appearance to register).
