Due to the extreme hot weather, we have decided to close our building for the rest of this week. We do not want to encourage anyone to travel into Leeds city centre to see us in these unusually high temperatures.

Our phone lines remain open and you can reach us as normal on 0113 3893000. Our building will be open from Monday 29 June at 9am as usual.

Take care, try to stay cool and look after each other!

On Wednesday, we had some wonderful volunteers in from QBE, Leeds who held an afternoon tea party for some older people. It was great to hear the laughter and chatter drift through the building. We are not sure who enjoyed it most, the older people or the volunteers!

This we would like say a HUGE thank you to all of our volunteers who help to positively change the lives of older people living in Leeds. We couldn't do it without you all, thank you!
