Due to the extreme hot weather, we have decided to close our building for the rest of this week. We do not want to encourage anyone to travel into Leeds city centre to see us in these unusually high temperatures.

Our phone lines remain open and you can reach us as normal on 0113 3893000. Our building will be open from Monday 29 June at 9am as usual.

Take care, try to stay cool and look after each other!

On Wednesday, we had some wonderful volunteers in from QBE, Leeds who held an afternoon tea party for some older people. It was great to hear the laughter and chatter drift through the building. We are not sure who enjoyed it most, the older people or the volunteers!

BIG thanks to Talan for supporting our quiz again on Saturday for an over 60's friendship group. Your quiz got the grey matter working while guests enjoyed a nice meal and a glass of wine. The winners and runners up loved the prizes you donated and we raised £400 for our charity. Thanks again for your continued support sponsoring these quizzes, next one is July!
