FFOTRA took part in yesterdayโ€™s walkabout at Roundhill Road, St Andrews. There was an excellent turnout, with constructive discussions on ways to improve the area. We hope the positive engagement shown at the walkabout will lead to the formation of a Tenants and Residents Association (TRA) in the area.

A great walkabout yesterday at Roundhill Road in St Andrews yesterday despite the rainy conditions!

It was fantastic to see a number of tenants and residents who joined us to discuss changes that would make their area better, with the hope that a tenants and residents association can be formed on the back of this.

Thank you to Janette for organising on behalf of the North East Fife housing team. Well done everyone!

Broomhead TRA, along with FFOTRA, met with Fife Council today to discuss concerns relating to living in high-rise flats.

Fife Council delivered a short presentation outlining the measures that have been implemented to help ensure tenant safety. The meeting also provided tenants with an opportunity to raise their concerns, ask questions, and have their voices heard.

Constructive discussions took place, highlighting the importance of partnership working between tenants and Fife Council to address concerns and improve services.

By working together, we can help create a safe and supportive living environment where tenants feel listened to, respected, and empowered to have their voices heard.

Thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to today's meeting.

A great turnout today at the community walkabout in Broomhead Drive, Dunfermline, with representatives from a range of agencies coming together to listen to residents and identify opportunities to improve the local area.

Walkabouts are an important way of bringing services directly into our communities. They allow residents to raise concerns, share ideas, and highlight issues that matter to them, whilst giving agencies the opportunity to see first-hand the challenges and successes within a neighbourhood.

By working together, agencies can better understand local needs, coordinate responses, and help ensure that communities remain safe, welcoming and well-maintained places to live.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to today's walkabout. Partnership working and community involvement are key to creating positive change, and it was encouraging to see so many organisations represented.

It was great to attend the West Wemyss Village TRA meeting on Wednesday night and see such a strong turnout from local residents. A strong community starts with people getting involved, and it was great to see that in action.
