For community groups today is your last chance to apply for the participatory budget of £750 from Fife Communities Climate Action Network and Fife Climate Hub

FCCAN members can fill out a quick questionnaire to apply to get their project funded. There will be a special People, Planet, Pint next week where your ideas will go to a vote.

If you are a member of the public that would like to participate in the vote and have your say on which local projects get funded, you can book onto the event to join.

One of our partners, Greener Kirkcaldy, are holding an exciting open day at their community building tomorrow!

Go along, find out all about what they do, take part in fun activities and have your say on the future work of the organisation.

Everyone is welcome to come along to our open day tomorrow (Saturday 8th August) at 8 East Fergus Place 11am - 2pm. If you are usually busy during the week this is a great opportunity to visit our community building and speak to our teams.

Last chance to book onto the free soil health workshop taking place with PLANT in Kinghorn this weekend.

Find out and learn how to improve and maintain your soil's health with Dr Liz Lakin from Dundee University at the Ecology Centre, Kinghorn on Saturday 8th August, 11am - 2pm.

This is a free event run by and is suitable for beginners. Hot drinks and snacks will be provided.

The perfect summer activity for the family! 🌳

The Fife Tree Wardens Tree Canopy Survey is a great way to get outdoors, connect with nature, do your bit for the community and have fun!

Help us gather data on tree types and size, including how far the branches stretch out and the width of the trunk (perfect opportunity to give a tree a massive hug!)

This will help us get a better understanding of our local trees and how to look after them.

Fife Climate Youth Festival returns this September running from 18th September - 18th October 2026.

The festival will celebrate youth-led climate action across Fife with youth groups, schools, students and community groups across Fife all invited to lead climate action events and activities in their community.
