Some examples include sauerkraut, kimchi and fire c***r.

Our friends at EATS Rosyth share why fermentation is gaining popularity, the benefits for your health and how it can positively support a greener and sustainable community!

Read more below about how they are sharing learning with the local community.

Climate Action Fife partners Ore Valley Housing Association and Greener Kirkcaldy are working together during Scotland's Climate Week to promote active travel in the Cardenden area.

This Wednesday from 10am - 2pm, they are showcasing their Ore Vall-E-Bikes Project, which offers local residents and tenants free access to their fleet of electric bikes. The initiative aims to encourage more people to choose low-carbon travel options and discover the benefits of cycling. This showcase event gives people the chance to try the bikes on a 30 minute led ride around the area.

Even if you already have your own bike, go along, talk to the team and take your bike for a free Dr Bike health check, and join one of the led rides.

Find out more about the project and Wednesday's event at https://www.climateactionfife.org.uk/celebrating-scotlands-climate-week-with-ore-vall-e-bikes/
