Last couple of weeks have been a busy (and brilliant) one for the team 👏

Last week we delivered Scottish Mental Health First Aid (SMHFA) training to a fantastic group – loads of honest conversations, shared experiences, and a real commitment to looking out for one another. Exactly what it’s all about.

This week, we’ve been delivering ASIST (Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training) – two intense but incredibly powerful days focused on building confidence, skills, and compassion when supporting someone in crisis. The level of engagement and openness in the room has been something else.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in both sessions – these aren’t easy topics, but showing up, leaning in, and being willing to learn makes a real difference in our communities 💙

Medetomidine has been detected in surrounding areas. If you are using please do not use alone, test your substances, and carry naloxone. Drug testing strips are available for nitazenes, xylazine, and medetomidine.

Overdose risk with this substance is very high, and can be sudden. Call 999 as soon as possible.
