Over the last two days, we had the privilege of delivering ASIST (Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training) to this fantastic group of 16 participants.
ASIST is an internationally recognised, evidence-based programme that equips people with the skills and confidence to recognise when someone may be at risk of su***de, intervene safely, and help them develop a plan to stay safe while connecting them with further support.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended for your commitment, compassion, and willingness to engage in such meaningful learning. The openness, respect, and thoughtful discussions throughout the two days created an excellent learning environment and demonstrated a shared commitment to making a difference.
Every person trained strengthens our communities’ ability to respond with confidence and care when someone is experiencing thoughts of su***de. Together, we are helping to save lives through connection, conversation, and intervention.
Well done to all 16 participants on completing the training—we’re proud to have been part of your learning journey.
