🏃‍♀️ Kirkcaldy Running Festival 2026! 🏃‍♂️
What a weekend! Our team got involved in the Kirkcaldy Running Festival, taking on both the 10K and Half Marathon - a brilliant way to get moving, challenge ourselves and enjoy the town from a different perspective.

We’re also proud that the Kirkcaldy Lottery was a sponsor of this fantastic local event, supporting an initiative that brings people together and gets the community active.
Well done to everyone who took part! 👏

🌍 From Kirkcaldy to Japan! 🇯🇵
We’re delighted to see Kirkcaldy, Adam Smith and our 250th anniversary celebrations of The Wealth of Nations featured in the Nihon Keizai Shimbun (Nikkei), Japan's leading and largest business and financial daily newspaper.

Journalist Seiko Katsura visited Kirkcaldy in June, joining our events and conferences and speaking with people locally about Adam Smith, his legacy and the significance of this special anniversary year.
It’s wonderful to see the story of our town and our celebrations reaching all the way to Japan, exactly the kind of international connection we hoped this anniversary would create. 🌍

The full article is available to Nikkei subscribers, with the opening section accessible via the link below.
A big thank you to Seiko for visiting Kirkcaldy and to everyone who helped share our story!
