Clows Top District Gardening Club Welcome to The Clows Top District Gardening Club. We're a community of passionate gardeners. We meet the 4th Wednesday of the month. 7.30 - 9pm .

Whether you're an experienced gardener or novice,come and join us and meet other green fingered gardeners .

Thanks to all the members and local community that made our plant sale a big success. There was a great selection of plants and garden vegetable plants donated which sold out very quickly.
The cake and Bric a brac stalls were also popular.
There is no Gardening meeting this month (May)as the members have a Garden visit to Lower Hill Farm .
Our next meeting at Clows Top village Hall will be on Wednesday June 24th.
This will be our Rose and Sweet-pea Show.
Chris Cronin will be our Speaker telling us all about the restoration of Croome Court Walled Garden.
It is one of the largest Georgian walled garden in the UK

This Saturday, 9th May, 10am - 12 Noon. Clows Top Gardening club are holding a Plant Sale at Clows Top Village Hall .
We will have Plants for your Home or Garden grown by our dedicated Gardening club members .
Not only plants, but also cakes and (gardening related) bric - a brac for sale too. This is a fund- raising event for our Gardening Club.
The side gates will be open for extra parking at the rear.
Please come, and tell your friends and neighbours. We look forward to seeing you next Saturday.

Dear Gardening Club Members
Our next meeting is on Wednesday April 22nd 19.30 - 21-30 at Clows Top Victory Hall.
We will be having a talk and slide show by Lee Hale (Director ) from Winterbourne House & Garden Edgbaston .
A Botanic Garden and
Heritage site owned by Birmingham University.
It's lovely place to visit which I have been to recently and you can use your 2 for 1 Gardeners World card to get in .

Well done to all our Gardening Club members for a magnificent Floral display of flowers and shrubs from their gardens last night .
There were numerous categories , but the classes of different daffodils 🌼 was outstanding .
Considering the recent weather we have been having it's amazing how our gardens have survived.
We had a very interesting talk and slide show from Pip Smith a landscape designer about the Resilient Garden - Flood, which has given us lots of inspiration and ideas after all the recent wet weather we have had recently.
Thanks to the Judges and Committee members for their hard work & support who made the evening a success.
Our next meeting is on Wednesday 22nd April.
We will be having and interesting talk by Lee Hale from Winterbourne House & Garden .
New members are welcome to join us .

Just a reminder our Gardening club meeting next Wednesday 25th March is the Spring show .
This is for members only to exhibit their Flowers and shrubs as per the categories on the programme.
The speaker is Pip Smith of Landscape design who will be talking about the Resilient Garden .
He will be commencing his talk at 8pm, later than usual because of the Spring Show.
We look forward to seeing everyone at 7.15 pm with your floral exhibits .

BBC Gardeners' World Magazine 2-for-1 Gardens Card & Guide for 2026 is featured in the May 2026 issue, providing 2-for-1 entry to over 360 UK and Ireland gardens, valid until April 2027. The card offers savings of up to Β£35 per visit and can be used multiple times.

Dear Gardening Club Members
Our next meeting on Wednesday March 25th will be our SPRING SHOW.
πŸ’πŸͺ»πŸŒ·πŸŒ»πŸŒΈπŸŒΌ
There are 12 catorgories to choose from so everyone will be able to exhibit at least one . (See your Spring Show Schedule )
Each Entry costs 20p.
Please arrive from 19.10 to 19.30 to stage your exhibits
Judging and refreshments will be from 19.30 - 20.00
The Spring Show is for Members only but if anyone would like to join our Gardening club please get in touch or come to one of our meetings.
Hoping we get some sunshine β˜€οΈ soon to get the flowers in bloom .

We shall be holding our next Gardening meeting
Next Wednesday 25th February at Clows Top Village Hall 7.30pm
The Speaker will be MBE Rosemary
Winnall of the Wyre Forest Study Group.
Rosemary is one of the county's top naturalists and a great inspiration to many.
She has talked to us many times before, on a variety of interesting subjects.
For those of you who didn't make it last month, the annual membership fee of Β£12 is now due.
Then Β£2 each session .
Refreshments included
